Nadur Youngsters and Victoria Hotspurs played their
129th encounter (in all competitions) on Saturday. They met 88
times in league matches and 40 times in Cup Competitions.
The Hotspurs can boast of a total of 40 victories,
compared with the Youngsters' 28. The other 20 matches ended on draw.
The Youngsters' biggest ever victory in this fixture
was recorded twice, back in 1998-99 when the Whites departed the Gozo
Stadium on the back of an impressive 4-0 win.
The most significant loss suffered by Nadur against the Citizens was by six goals to nil, way back in January 1970.
So far this season Nadur defeated the Spurs two
times 3-1 and 1-0.
The most prolific scorer for the Whites against the
Reds was Joe Camilleri (il-Grigal) who found the net 9 times, 5 in
league games and 4 in Cup matches.
Saviour Farrugia have found the net 6 times in league matches.
