Carnival wraps up with Nadur in the limelight [04/03/03]
Although official Carnival celebrations in Malta and Gozo wrapped up on Monday, the Nadurin brought to an end the year's craziest long-weekend on Tuesday. The Nadur spontaneous Carnival took a centre-stage position on numerous media, including Maltese dailies' front-pages, e-newspapers, radio and TV stations. Political satire was this year's strongest element with revelers mimicking Malta's top politicians, President Bush, Bin Laden, EU Commissioner Verheugen, Queen Elizabeth II, Prince Charles and so on!.
