CONDITIONS OF ENTRY 1.
This exhibition/competition is open to all members of the public. 2.
Preference is to be given to photos which expose the Mediterranean
character of 3.
Colour prints can be submitted in the following sections: a)
Sceneries enjoyed from Nadur, or in which Nadur is the main subject. b)
Close-ups showing wild flora encountered in Nadur.(At the seashore,
garigues, c)
Every day life in Nadur. d)
Nadur Carnival particularly spontaneous scenes held in the evening a in the e) Open subject related to Nadur. 4.
A Maximum of 3 photos can be submitted for each of the above sections. 5.
Participants must have full rights on the entries submitted. 6.
The original image must be made by the author on photographic emulsion
or acquired
with a digital camera. All images must be original and may not incorporate
photographic elements produced by anyone else.
Any modification of the By
virtue of submitting an entry, the author certifies the work as his own and
permits the organisers to reproduce all or part of the entered material free
of charge for publication and or display in media related to this particular event. 7.
Prints must be no less than 25cm on one side and fit within an area of
30cm by 8.
Members of the Organising
Committee may not submit entries for exhibition. 9.
Title of work (preferably descriptive) Name and Address of the
participant must appear
at the back of each print in BLOCK LETTERS.
Every entry must be numbered to agree with the entry form. 10.
Closing date : Participants from Gozo are to hand in their entries at the
office of Gozo
entries from the 1st December 2002 till 31st May 2003. Malta
entries on Thursday 5th December 2002 till 29th May
2003, between 5.30pm and 7.30pm. 11.
The following prizes will be awarded for each of the sections: First Prize: Lm50 Second
Prize: Lm25 Honourable
Mention Certificates may be awarded at the discretion of the jury. No
work will be eligible to more than one major award. 12.
The Organisers reserve the right to reject any print
giving specific reason for such
action. 13.
All possible care will be take with the entries, but the Organisers
cannot accept 14.
The works will be selected by a panel of judges composed of members of
the Malta
Photographic Society and a Representative of the Nadur Local Council. 15.
In the event of any selected or an award winning entry is later found
to have violated
any of these conditions, the Organisers reserve the right to take any action
they deem suitable, including the withdrawal of the prize/s
awarded. In
such an event, the winning position will be declared void. 16. Participation in this Exhibition/Competition signifies acceptance of all the above conditions. |
