Excellent webpage about a town with a long history and tradition. I had the opportunity to meet Mr Michael Grima of the Maritime Museum. Back in 1989 me, my wife Catherine and my children were welcomed by Mr Grima in his house in Nadur, where we saw his wonderful collection.

Great report on Sept. 11. You guys are doing a great job. Sept 11 was a real sad day for many people and for many gozitans who live in New York. I know of many people from Nadur who live or work around the WTC area. Many of them were shaken up.

Yes I agree with you Tal-Abjad that the Isopu tower should go through some refurbishment. Before election everyhone said it was a priority. I hope now it will be done and I also hope the Planning Authority doesn't give lots of trouble. However, I believe the Council should upgrade its website too as it has been abandoned for years. It's just sitting there empty and without information as to what the council is doing. I just checked ghajnsielem counsil homepage and it has all sort of information on it. I just read about vandalism at Nadur's WC/Toilets. All is need is to place some cameras outside.......Not inside guys, and then attempt to catch the culprits. Just an idea.

Great website indeed. However, I cannot help notice the lack of interest on the Nadur Counsil webpage. I have a feeling that there is great censorship on that homepage and that is why people do not participate. To make Nadur better, we need to be able to voice our opinion whether they are favorable or not. SO Nadur Counsil stop being a Big Brother and remember who elects you.
Great site!! Its very important for me as Maltese who lives abroad to keep intouch with whats happening on the Island. Unfortunatly I cannot visit often but I hope to make it next summer.

I have just come across this web site, and I am so glad. I was born in Marsa, Malta 1939, then went to live in Gozo, for most of the war, then left to come to England in 1945/46. My father was a British sailor and my mother Maltese, her family home being Gozo. My mother died thirty years ago and she was never able to go back to Gozo, how she would have loved to have been able to see Malta as I am seeing it now through your website. A truly wonderful site. I remember being at Nadur when I was very young with my father, whose dad was in fact from Nadur (Guzi tal-Grieg or Gregi). All the things I remember about Gozo are all very nice at heart. Keep up this nice website and I wish you a nice feast.

We are here to present our bid to host the special XXV Convention (silver convention) in 2005 in Nadur Gozo. Nadur Carnival now is being exposed all over the world. Over here there are delegates from many countries in Europe as well as from countries in Africa and USA. Hope that we return with the confirmation that Nadur will be the World Carnival City in 2005. It is a hard contest with Sousse of Tunisia and Novi Vindolski of Croatia. We hope for the best.
