Good job youngsters. Finally here is the team that we hoping to have at the beginning of the season. I must say that ALL of you did wonderful, althought luck wasn't on our side. Pavel Mraz is the most experienced player in Gozo and he shows it. Evi Parker could seem a bit tired (!) but he's there - he scored and hit the pole, Baggio is there too - but luck wasn't with him today, Speaches is Great, Xalana is great too, Kim is always good (unlucky today), goaler Kevin (finally showed us his worth!). KEEP IT UP GUYS. AND TAKE THE CUP TO ITS HOME!!!!!

I just say the photos of the youngsters of Nadur´s Youth Centre filling up the container which is to be sent to the poor of our parishes here in the Jungle of Iquitos...and I must say THANK YOU SO MUCH. I have already started arrangements to get the container all the way to the Jungle where I am and where some of the youngsters have been. I miss you all... but seeing the photos really did me good and encourages me to continue in my service of the poor here in Peru. Thank you for all the people who have donated so many things... I assure you all that this donation will serve to better the life of many poor families. In their name I again express my gratitude and promise you all our prayers. Keep up the good work and may the Lord accompany you in the upcoming Youth Festival. Right now it is 11.30 pm and I have just come from visiting a dieing poor old man abandoned alone in a small hut, with just a board underneath him, in desperate need of some medicine to relieve him of the pain and fever. So after saying a few prayers i ran back home to get some medicine to give him but when I went back he was already dead... i guess all he wanted was to say a prayer and abandon his soul in God´s hand. That is the life of the poor... their only hope is God... and people like you you know how to share and give... I pray the Lord may fill all your hearts with joy and love.

Congratuulations. I was attracted to this impressive site because of its address content (june 29th). It reminded me of my childhood about 50 years ago, when I used to accompany my father from Rabat in Malta to Nadur as he was delivering and assembling the huge outdoor wooden pedestal for the first time, after completing it in our joinery factory. My father, Guzeppi Micallef, still has an impressive photo which he proudly displays in his room in an Old People's Home, showing the pedestal when it was erected in Nadur square for the first time.

sister tells me some of the newa too, but on the webside there are very nice
