Naduri Justin Falzon to exhibit portraits [19/01/06]

In Search Of The Soul: A Portrait is the title of an exhibition of portraits by Naduri Justin Falzon being launched on January 28 at the Hilton Malta. The exhibition is organised by the Salesians of Don Bosco and proceeds will go to St Patrick's School, Sliema. This is the first time that a Maltese artist has painted so many portraits and compiled them for one exhibition. Mr Falzon, who is attending a course at the Lorenzo Dè Medici Art Institute in Florence, has prepared a limited edition of 30 engravings showing the Mnajdra temples. The exhibition will be inaugurated by President Emeritus Censu Tabone and will run until February 4. A dinner is also being organised for the launch of the exhibition at the Hilton, at Portomaso Suite on January 28. Nadur greets new year [01/01/06]

The year 2006 will be the year in which Nadur's football ground will finally be covered with artificial turf. Nadur will also have a new clinic; the restored Ta' Sopu Tower will be inaugurated; the entrance to Nadur at Rabat Road will be lit and the Nadur Local Council will move to its new premises in North Street. The Local Council has just launched this year's Calendar of Events, starting February 17th with the Miss Carnival Beauty Contest and wrapping up with the annual Christmas Concert at Nadur's Basilica on Christmas Day.
