Council inaugurates family monument at Fatima Street [11/07/03]
President Guido de Marco inaugurated a Family Monument at the Council's Garden in Fatima Street. The monument, unveiled on Friday, was designed by renowned Gozitan artist John Grima.
The Mnarja Band, the Aceline Dancers and Eurovision entry Fabrizio Fianello entertained a crowd of Nadurin at Fatima Street. Joe Camilleri gave a critical review of Grima's work, while Mayor Dr Chris Said and President Guido de Marco delivered a speech. Peter Paul Vella was the evening's host.
