Church celebrates feast of Corpus Christi [22/06/03]
The Nadur Parish celebrated the feast of Corpus Christi (the body of Christ) on Sunday. The feast is celebrated 60 days after Easter. Following the 0830 CET Mass, Archpriest Mgr Saviour Muscat went round Nadur's main streets carrying the Holy Eucharist. Many locals participated in the procession, while young children carpeted the streets with flowers as a sign of respect and reverence to the Holy Eucharist. The Mnarja Band accompanied the procession.
