Hundreds of people in Nadur to celebrate Mnarja [30/06/04]
Hundreds of people from Malta crossed over to Gozo and joined the Nadurin for their annual feast dedicated to St Peter and St Paul. The feast reached its peak on Tuesday, June 29th. Cardinal Keith Patrick Michael O'Brien, Archbishop of Saint Andrews and Edinburgh, was in Nadur during the past three days and led a number of Church celebrations. The procession with the statue of St Peter and St Paul left the Basilica on Tuesday evening and went round Nadur's main roads. The traditional marc tal-hdax was held in the morning, where Nadur's youths celebrated their feast in style.
