Nadur - Baveno Twinning Agreement (October 2003)
The Nadur Local Council signed its second twinning agreement with another Italian town - this time it's beautiful Baveno - situated in a romantic and panoramic region in the central part of the Lake, in front of the Borromeo islands. The agreement was signed by Nadur Mayor Dr Chris Said and Baveno Mayor Dr Paolo Marchino on Saturday, October 8th, 2003.
As well as mountain and lakeside walks, Baveno offer its guests a tranquil holiday environment with distinguished restaurants and entertainment. Baveno has been a well known tourist resort since the 19th century and nowadays boasts 21 hotels for all tastes in addition to well equipped camp sites.
