Nadur Youngsters F.C. became the first G.F.A. member club to have its history published in a book. 

The author, Peter Paul Camilleri spent much of his spare time in research work and worked hard so that the football fans of the Maltese Islands may have an interesting book about the development of the Association Football on the island of Gozo.

Based on facts and figures , the book is replete with photos that make it an illustrated one. Furthermore the author depicts the social aspects of the Nadur village life.

The major part speaks about the history of N.Y.F.C. since their beginning in 1958 up to season 1997/98 – 40 years with detailed information and statistics, season after season. Another section speaks of the development of the football game in Gozo which kicked off in the thirties. One reads about the origin of organised football played in the immediate pre- World War II years, and gets acquainted with the first Nadur Team:- The Ramblers, and also with the later ones:- Nadur Olympians – 1952/53 u  1956/57; Nadur Rangers – 1953/54 u1955/56; Nadur Youngboys – 1961/62; Nadur Vikings – 1962/63; and Nadur Athletics – 1972/75.

The book of over 270 pages end with a poem by Charlie Grech titled – “1994/95: Is-sena tan-Nadur”.

The author dedicated the book to his wife Jane and gave all rights of publication to the Committee of Nadur Youngsters. On the author’s request, all profits from sales will go to N.Y.F.C. out of which 5% will be donated to Fr. Raymond Portelli’s mission fund in Peru.

It is a must for all football fans to obtain a copy for besides reviving nostalgic memories the book will be very useful for reference and will surely adorns one’s library.
