Dahlet Qorrot: the 11th best bathing site in Malta [25/07/03]
Dahlet Qorrot Bay is the 11th best bathing site in Malta and Gozo. A study carried out by Professor Victor Axiak and published on Thursday revealed that Hondoq ir-Rummien is the best bathing site in the country, followed by Mistra Bay and Paradise Bay. Professor Axiak studied all sea-quality reports published by the Department of Public Health between 1996 and 2001. Out of a total of 86 bathing sites, Dahlet Qorrot ranked 11th. Unfortunately the Malta Maritime Authority does not consider Dahlet Qorrot Bay as a swimmers zone.
